Local Church Partners with Nourish Now for Community Food Distribution

Gaithersburg, MD — On Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. EDT, members of the community are invited to join in a special outreach event hosted in partnership with Nourish Now. The gathering will take place at the Church of the Redeemer, Gaithersburg Campus – 19425 Woodfield Road, Gaithersburg, Maryland, and will focus on meeting both physical and spiritual needs in the local area.

Volunteers will help distribute food boxes to individuals and families, collect information to connect guests with additional resources, and offer prayer for those who wish to receive it. Organizers say the event is an opportunity not only to address food insecurity but also to share encouragement and hope with neighbors.

“This is about more than providing food,” said event organizers. “It’s about showing the light and love of Jesus in tangible ways, building relationships, and letting our community know we are here for them.”
