MIPS Leads Open Standards Development for Physical AI Platforms as RISC-V International Premier Member

MIPS, by GF, today announced it is now a Premier Member of RISC-V International, with Yankin Tanurhan, SVP & CTO of MIPS, by GF, appointed as Vice Chairman of the RISC-V International Board. The milestone advances GF and MIPS leadership in the open standards and semiconductor technologies required to build physical AI platforms for aerospace, artificial intelligence, automotive, industrial, and intelligent edge applications. GF’s long-standing commitment to open standards is now extended through MIPS, an industry-leading AI platform provider, as both companies work with the RISC-V ecosystem to accelerate innovation in workload-optimized computing beyond the data center.
