The lineup grows as October’s citywide food celebration approaches
EMERYVILLE, CA, UNITED STATES, August 11, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Excitement is building for Emeryville Restaurant Week, the city’s first-ever citywide celebration of its dining scene, as the October 1–11 debut draws closer. Throughout the eleven-day event, participating restaurants across Emeryville will offer special menu items, prix fixe menus, and discounts, inviting diners to explore the city one plate at a time.
Early participation has been strong, with confirmed participants including Chick-fil-A, Flores, Hilton Garden Inn Restaurant, Humphry Slocombe (15% off their Secret Breakfast Sundae), Mr. Dewie’s Cashew Creamery, Butter Pecan Bakeshop (15% off a box of their best-selling cookies), Polaris Café, and Summer Summer Thai Eatery, alongside two true Emeryville institutions: Oaks Corner, part of the Oaks Card Club that has operated on San Pablo Avenue since 1898 — predating even the city’s Prohibition-era ‘Rotten City’ reputation — with a filet mignon special, and Trader Vic’s, the iconic tiki restaurant and birthplace of the Mai Tai that has called its Emeryville location home since 1972, serving a prix fixe Harvest Menu.
Emeryville Restaurant Week is produced by Destination Emeryville and the Emeryville Commerce Connection (ECC), with early support from sponsors, including Premier Sponsor Bay Street Emeryville, along with funding support from the City of Emeryville.
“Seeing so many Emeryville restaurants come together for this first-ever Restaurant Week has been amazing to watch,” said Christa Williams, Marketing Director at Bay Street Emeryville and a member of the Emeryville Restaurant Week planning committee. “The momentum has been incredible — it’s shaping up to be a great week.”
The growing list of participating dining destinations is available at emeryvillerestaurantweek.com, where diners can start planning their Restaurant Week itinerary.
There is no cost for Emeryville restaurants, cafés, bakeries, pubs, and food trucks to participate in Emeryville Restaurant Week. Businesses interested in joining can sign up at emeryvillerestaurantweek.com — with prizes on the line for top participants, including a two-night hotel stay.
